SewLab is a sewing education studio located in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia. Our goal is to provide a fun, creative and supportive learning environment for kids and teens, ages 7 – 17, to learn how to sew. Instruction is tailored to meet the needs of each individual based on their current sewing level in small group classes. Our specialty is launching beginner sewers and having fun. Classes cover beginner – intermediate/advanced sewing skills, sewing machine use, pattern reading, clothing adjustments and specialty topics. We offer many entry points to learn to sew, expand your know-how and utilize a fully equipped SewLab workstation to complete your own projects. ● Large cutting tables at counter height
● Cutting mats and specialized rulers

Open spots available to new students July 24, 2017. **

Classes
Mondays – Thursdays at 3:30 or 5:00,
or Tuesdays 6:30.

**Please Note: Current students always receive first priority for registering, and then siblings. Upcoming sessions are added to the Esoft Planner Schedule
four weeks before the next session. Current students are added to the classes first and they will have ten days to confirm/pay their preregistration. Once spaces become available registration is open to new students.

Inclement Weather Policy
During the winter and spring seasons SewLab will make every effort to remain open.
SewLab reserves the right to delay the opening or close the studio during any inclement
weather event.
Unfortunately make ups are not available for classes cancelled due to
inclement weather. If the studio must close due to inclement weather, emails will be sent
to affected classes and notices will be posted on this website, Instagram and Facebook pages.

ATTENDANCE: When you sign up for a class session you are committing to all the classes in the session. Please make all efforts to attend each class. This allows for the class to run more smoothly for everyone. Due to the volume of students and lack of scheduling time, we do not offer make-up classes. No refunds or prorated credit will be given for late arrivals, early departures and no-shows.
Credits are not issued for personal convenience or schedule conflicts.
The studio opens about five minutes before each scheduled class.
